Welcome to Fragrance History.

Before perfume was a luxury, it was a ritual.

Long before glass bottles lined store shelves, the earliest perfumers gathered nature’s finest materials by hand. Fragrant woods smoldered beneath open skies, resins filled temples with smoke, and aromatic plants were steeped into precious oils to honor kings, welcome guests, and accompany sacred ceremonies. Every scent told a story long before words ever could.

Semester One pays homage to those first masters of fragrance. Earthy oak and vetiver provide a timeless foundation, while black tea, cypress, and delicate white lily bring balance to a composition that feels both ancient and enduring.

Some lessons are forgotten with time.
